And I, infinitesimal being,
drunk with the starry
likeness, image of
felt myself a pure part
of the abyss,
I wheeled with the stars,
my heart broke loose on the wind.

My Roommate and Beyonce
It has been around four days and I’ve realized the extreme obsession my roommate has with the Queen B. I had to carry a 30 minute conversation about Beyonce, I’ve had to watch her VMA peformance (TWICE), I’ve listened to more songs than I thought even existed, I’ve seen my roommate reenact Beyonce dance moves and hair flips, I’ve heard her talk about seeing Beyonce in London, and I’m pretty sure when people start selling posters on campus on Wednesday I’m going to see at least five Beyonce posters staring at me across from my bed.
I don’t know what to do anymore. Bey has taken over my life even when I didn’t want her to. IT’S LIKE I’M BEING FORCED TO WORSHIP A MONARCHY, PLEASE HELP ME.
